Harry Potter, Grace Style

This week was the class Halloween party. Grace wanted to be Harry Potter. She and I have been reading the books and she was inspired. Micki assembled the costume. And Grace seemed to have a good time. She was feeling under the weather, so at the party was uncharacteristically mellow. I had a pretty important meeting that day at the same time and was able to be excused to be late. The best part of the day was when she hugged me and said, “Thanks Dad for coming to my party and not missing your meeting.” I told her, “You are more important to me than any meeting. Even if it’s important.” Helped confirm my choices. It was a good day. | Photo Album
